![]() If the amount of money that you're dealing with is more than $10,000 total in all foreign accounts, you'll be required to file an FBAR with the IRS. And, to my knowledge, even if you're just a signatory on a foreign account, there are still IRS reporting requirements because the account may be "controlled" by you, although it may not be in your name. If you create a truly anonymous account (one that's not in your own name), then transferring money to that account from your legitimate PayPal accounts (for which you gave your real information, I presume), destroys the anonymity.Įven if that other account is not in your name, it's not hard for the feds to put two and two together. ![]()
